About
A tool, not a brochure.
Most pages about visiting Bangladesh are either glossy and vague, or a wall of forum posts. Neither tells you the one thing you actually want up front: what this trip looks like, and roughly what it costs — for you, from where you live.
So this is that missing tool. You answer a few questions and it gives you an honest cost range in your own currency, a day-by-day skeleton you can bend to your taste, and a straight read on visas. No account, no email, no waiting on a quote. It all runs in your browser, and every plan you build has a link you can share.
Why honest ranges, not shiny numbers
Real trips don't cost a single tidy figure. A mangrove cruise in peak season is not the same price as a quiet week in the tea hills, and a backpacker and a honeymooner will spend wildly differently on the same route. So everything here is a range, with the season and style baked in — and a clear note that operators and timing move the numbers. Better an honest window than a confident lie.
Independent — and clear about it
This is a personal project. It is not the Bangladesh Tourism Board, not a government body, and not a travel agency. It doesn't use any official emblem or claim any official status. When you see a "book" button, it's usually an affiliate link to a booking platform — if you use it, the platform may pay a small commission at no extra cost to you. That's the only way the project keeps the lights on, and it never changes the advice.
The one rule I won't bend: verify your visa and current travel conditions with official sources before you commit money. This tool gets you oriented fast — it doesn't replace the government's word.
Who it's for
Foreign travellers sizing up Bangladesh for the first time: figuring out whether they've got the days, the budget and the paperwork to make it work — and, once they do, what a good first loop might look like.
That's the pitch. Now build yours.
