Bangladesh trip budget for 2 weeks
Fourteen days is the sweet spot: enough to loop the whole country — capital, tea hills, mangroves, coast and mountains — without living on night buses. Here's the shape, and what it costs.

Loads all five regions in the planner, in your currency.
The loop
- Days 1–2 — Dhaka. Settle in, Old Dhaka, and the rivers.
- Days 3–5 — Sylhet & Srimangal. The tea hills, Lawachara and Ratargul.
- Days 6–8 — Sundarbans. A mangrove cruise out of Khulna.
- Days 9–11 — Cox's Bazar & the coast. The long beach, the southern road, and Saint Martin's if it's open.
- Days 12–14 — Chittagong Hill Tracts. Kaptai Lake and the Bandarban ridgelines, then back out.
Two of these regions — Saint Martin's Island and the Hill Tracts — have access rules that change. Confirm both before locking your dates. See the Hill Tracts and coast pages for the current caveats.

Common questions
How much does two weeks cost?
A comfort-style fortnight covering most of the country typically runs into the low thousands of US dollars per person, excluding flights. Backpackers spend substantially less.
Can I really see all of Bangladesh in two weeks?
You can do a genuinely full loop. You'll still move a fair amount, so a buffer day or two saves the trip when a boat or road runs late.
